MyHeritage's AI Time Machine™ is a feature that uses AI to generate images of a person in different historical periods. Users upload 10 to 25 photos of themselves, and the AI creates a model to cast them in various predefined historical themes. The AI tool then creates realistic images of what the person might have looked like in the past.

How it works:

1. Go to the MyHeritage platform.
2. Upload 10 to 25 photos of yourself, including full-body, close-up, and profile shots.
3. The AI analyzes the photos and generates images of you in different historical eras.

AI Time Machine™ is based on Stable Diffusion and technology licensed from Astria. The generated images include watermarks to distinguish them from real photos. Users can download the images individually or as a set of 8 and share them on social media. MyHeritage says that users retain complete ownership of the resulting images.The tool has various themes depicting different historical eras, from Ancient Greece and Ancient Egypt to the 20th century and outer space. It can transform users into an ancient Greek warrior, Egyptian pharaoh, medieval knight, Victorian lady, or 1960s hippie. The tool is available on desktop and mobile.
